South Dakota Women in Uniform
Women have played a vital role in the U.S. Armed Forces since the Revolutionary War, yet many of their stories remain untold.

Women have formally been serving in the military for more than 200 years, shattering expectations, defying norms, and overcoming obstacles along the way, proving their rightful place in the warrior culture of the U.S. military.
This documentary special will bring to life the powerful stories of some of the 6,500+ South Dakota women who have served our country with unwavering strength, resilience, and dedication.
